there's a letter in the pocket, of the jacket waiting underneath the stairwell, for you to find and i'd hurry quick to read it, if you're needing a suggestion on what to do about your busy mind oh believe me i've been strugglin', just like you but I can say goodbye, to all the tears I cry, they just, warm my cheek and remind me i'm alive she was downtown, floatin' around, staring at the sunset cause' even if you're troubled, the sun still does come out, for you and in her head they found a spider crawlin' up the side of her brain and i'd hurry quick to catch it, if you're needing a possession to keep with you when she decides to leave oh believe me i've been strugglin', just like you but I can say goodbye, to all the tears I cry, they just, warm my cheek and remind me i'm alive she was downtown, floatin' around, staring at the sunset cause' even if you're troubled, the sun still does come out, for you she was downtown, floatin' around, staring at the sunset cause' even if you're troubled, the sun still does come out, yeah even if you're lonely, the sun still does come out, for you.

The Wreck 04:21
well i lost my way, i was making up a story again well our ship had sailed, across the sea, with no one there, guiding and all was fine, till we saw the light, the beacon tried to warn me and our minds were blown and our clothes were torn and our feet were cold and my legs were sore as I made my way onto the shore and I saw the wreck, from upon a ledge, just above the waters edge so I made my way, onto higher ground, the others they, oh they can't be found and our minds were blown and our clothes were torn and our feet were cold and I crossed the field in the cool breeze,of the evening chill and I lay my head, on a bed of grass, and I waiting for, the night to pass oh and in my dream, well I was awake, drifting on, the sea again and our minds were blown and our clothes were torn and our feet were cold and I lost my way, I was making up, a story again and our minds were blown and our clothes were torn and our feet were cold and i lost my way, I was making up, a story again.

at the bottom, I met a man, who told me not to be scared, no matter what is there and as we started talking, i started speaking in tongues i didn't recognize, and my demons came before my eyes, and to me that was a surprise at the bottom, you see a face, but it doesn't look like yours the who's face is yours in the middle, when you start to talk about it, and you start to move on in, and your voice is rising I knew a sailor and his name was sam, he had to fight to get his voice back but in the middle of the night, oh you can still hear him cry I want to be like everyone else, except I don't I want to see the world, but i'm too broke and everything they tell you about the world it doesn't work for everyone.

The River 04:39
well you were scared, and I understand, if you didn't have time to hold my hand I didn't know, what to do, i was sitting alone with the scissors in the bathroom waiting for you but darlin don't cry, darlin don't fear, life is a running game, that you have to bear darlin don't cry, darlin come here, life is a heavy load, that i'll help you bear and the kitchen sink, was full of you, from when you cut your own hair cause' you didn't want to have to ask me too and i didn't know, what to do, I was carrying a stone walking into the ocean waiting for you. but darlin don't cry, darlin don't fear, life is a running game, that you have to bear darlin don't cry, darlin come here, life is a heavy load, that i'll help you bear I will take you down to the river, but you gotta be the one to take a drink (x4) darlin don't cry, darlin don't fear, life is a running game, that you have to bear darlin don't cry, darlin don't fear, life is a heavy load, that i'll help you bear

there's a storm, she's a blowin, she's a comin round the bend she's been chasing me for miles, she's been keepin me in bed now she's taken all my money, and she's taken half my friends there's a storm, she's a blowin, she's a comin round again when I find in me no sadness, when I find in me no pain comes an achin in my bones, comes a dancin in the rain in the middle of the night, well she's whisperin my name, she's as quiet as a stone, but she's louder than a train there's a storm, she's a blowin, she's a comin round the bend she's been chasing me for miles, she's been keepin me in bed now she's taken all my money, and she's taken half my friends there's a storm, she's a blowin, she's a comin round again

Build a Boat 04:38
honey life is hard she'll throw stones at your cave, she'll laugh as she breaks your heart and they'll say, you're weak and you;re wrong, but when I look at you, baby all I see is strong so put on your boots and walk don't let em trip you as you make your way through the fog and when the waves, come crashin in you won't sink honey, you will swim and when the rain, comes fallin down you'll build a boat honey, you can't drown and someday, you'll catch a train you'll stick out your thumb and say mother free me from these chainsand honey, just sail from your shore you'll be scared, but happy, and free, oh i've done it before and don't, lose hope when you're done, you'll realize home is wherever you lay your head on the ground. and when the waves, come crashin in you won't sink honey, you will swim and when the rain, comes fallin down you'll build a boat honey, you can't drown and when the waves, come crashin in you won't sink honey, you will swim and when the rain, comes fallin down you'll build a boat honey, you can't drown

More than Me 04:34
i'mma losing my self, and i'mma feeling worn out and the sun has lost his day and the moon has lost her face well i'mma trying to stay afloat all this water has carried me away and I cannot leave, and I cannot stay don't go, i'm not losing you I won't know how to be i have got myself, but sometimes I might need more than me well i'mma losing my mind and i'mma feeling so tired and i'mma looking to the woods and i'mma looking to the sea don't go, i'm not losing you I won't know how to be I have got myself, but sometimes I might need more than me november 6th, 2016, the birds outside the window are moving exactly like a school of fish, not one decided which way to move, but all together, sporadically. it's the last couple months of the year, my hair is just past my shoulders, it was sunny earlier today, but the clouds have taken over. january 8th, 2017, life is floating on I suppose, I found a book, it's about a woman who meets an old blind woman, and learns from her to come back to who she is and where she's from, i'm really enjoying it so far. february 4th, 2017, with arms stretched wide, I call for you, in times I cannot breathe, i wait for you, but really I wait for me, really I want to love me, and you're helping me fall more in love with myself everyday. like a loud crow screaming into my ear you are a shouting child. august 10, 2017, i think i'm actually starting to feel better, i don't feel like i'm just trying to distract myself, i feel like i'm here.

Raven Sing 02:42
I sat here for a while, thought of everything, I heard the raven sing, and she sounded sweet we get caught in the waves, get caught in our minds, get stuck in our ways be wild and free, you don't have to smile, if that's not how you feel I sat here for a while, thought of everything, I heard the raven sing, and she sounded sweet if in the darkest of day, a shadow remains, then so must a light come back to the woods, and play me your song, i've forgotten the words I sat here for a while, thought of everything, I heard the raven sing, and she sounded sweet
